The NAS held a Creativity Competition as part of
their "I Exist " campaign. The campaign is to raise awareness and transform the lives of adults
with autism by ensuring they get the services and support they need.
Sue Burden attends Jigsaw and
Sue entered her illustration "Expressing how it feels for her living in general needs flats."
Sue is
a talented artist and her illustration was given high praise by the cartoonist Gerald Scarfe.
The exhibition in
London finished on the 28th February but you can catch it next in Glasgow.

Sue says "All the scenes in each of the flats shown represent all
the things I've heard having lived in "general needs" flats for 13 years. There is a
Desperate need for flats specifically for those with Asperger Syndrome and high functioning autism."
