This creative Garden textile piece has been made by students attending The Jigsaw Study
Centre, the day centre run by Autism Anglia. All students attending Jigsaw have
an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC).
Every student working in the Art Department has contributed to the piece of work in some way. Techniques used
include Bondaweb, printing, painting, wrapping, hand stitch, machine embroidery, felting, marbling and waxed paper.
Sylvia and Lindsay have attended various workshops run by the Tollesbury Creative Group and
have been able to pass on their new skills to the students at Jigsaw.
